150,000-square-foot flex industrial building proposed in East Windsor

According to the Hartford Business Journal, developers have submitted a wetlands application to construct a 150,000-square-foot flex industrial building on a 13.3-acre site at 68 Newberry Road, East Windsor. The property, currently housing a 3,000-square-foot warehouse built in 1986, was purchased for $950,000 in 2007. Plans include demolishing the existing structure and replacing it with a single-story facility featuring 46 tractor-trailer docking spaces, 120 parking spaces for cars, and 33 spaces for tractor-trailers.
