Developers acquire former Holo-Krome site and adjacent West Hartford property for $3M
According to the Hartford Business Journal, limited liability companies tied to West Hartford-based developers have acquired two properties—230 Newington Road and 60 Brook St.—for a combined $3 million. The purchase includes a 0.63-acre residentially zoned parcel and a 13.8-acre former industrial site that once housed a 232,802-square-foot Holo-Krome manufacturing facility, which was demolished in 2019. The seller, H-K Connecticut Holding Co. LLC, is proceeding with environmental remediation involving the removal of 830 cubic yards of contaminated soil. Preliminary plans include a 54-unit multifamily development and a contractor storage yard with tractor-trailer parking.
