Five Life Science Firms Growing Their Presence in Connecticut

According to the Hartford Business Journal, five life sciences companies are expanding their operations in Connecticut, with several leasing space at the new life sciences tower at 101 College St., New Haven. Cellsbin, a startup focused on oncology-detection devices, is investing $1 million and adding five staff members. EpiTET Therapeutics, a Yale spinout is investing $8 million and creating 10 jobs, while NanomediGene is investing over $3 million and adding 10 jobs. Oxylus Energy and Talam Biotech are also expanding, with investments of $4.5 million and relocations to Branford and Groton, respectively.
