Hitchcock Printing Adopts Solar Energy at New Britain Facility

According to the Hartford Business Journal, Hitchcock Printing & Distribution Systems in New Britain has installed a 227-kilowatt solar array at its 21,000-square-foot facility on 191 John Downey Drive. The installation, supported by the state’s C-PACE program, is expected to save the company $1.2 million in energy costs over the next 20 years. Since 2013, C-PACE has provided nearly $420 million in funding for energy-saving upgrades.
