Major CT Mall Owner Strikes $25.8M Deal to Acquire Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester

According to the Hartford Business Journal, Namdar Realty Group, Mason Asset Management, and CH Capital Group have agreed to purchase The Shoppes at Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester for $25.8 million. The 1.3-million-square-foot mall, which sits on 60.8 acres, went into foreclosure in June 2021 after its owners fell behind on payments to Wells Fargo Bank. The mall has faced challenges due to the pandemic and the loss of key anchor tenants. The purchase-and-sales agreement was submitted to the U.S. District Court in Connecticut on December 31, and a joint motion to approve the sale is awaiting court action.
