Two Bridgeport commercial properties sold for nearly $5M

According to the Hartford Business Journal, 1730 Commerce Drive LLC has purchased an 87,778-square-foot commercial building at 1730 Commerce Drive, Bridgeport for $3.65 million. The two-story property, built in 1898 on 3.79 acres, was previously owned by 1730 State Street Limited Partnership and houses Beacon Roofing Supply in 52,667 square feet, with 8,000 square feet remaining vacant. In a separate transaction, 16-10 Realty Corp. and 142-10 Realty Corp. acquired an 11,728-square-foot warehouse at 1832 Commerce Drive for $1.2 million, with plans to lease out the first-floor space.
