According to the Hartford Business Journal, the former Hartford Courant headquarters at 285 Broad St. in Hartford, a 289,392-square-foot office and industrial property, is going up for auction with a starting bid of $700,000. The property, built in 1928 and currently 23% occupied, includes 175,000 square feet of office space and 120,000 square feet of industrial space. The auction is scheduled for January 27, 2025, and the property is listed on the online auction website Ten-X. The current owner, 285 Broad Street Hartford LLC, acquired the property in 2018 for $6.9 million.
