According to the Hartford Business Journal, a 124,000-square-foot collection of retail properties in the downtown “Storrs Center” near the University of Connecticut was sold for $40.25 million. SCT Storrs Center I LLC sold the commercial portions to 1266 Storrs Road LLC. The sold property includes a grocery-anchored plaza at 1206-1220 Storrs Road and additional commercial condo portions, hosting tenants like Price Chopper, Barnes & Noble, and Starbucks.
