According to the Hartford Business Journal, Van Wilgen Garden Mart acquired the former Smithland Supply Pet & Garden Center property at 1198 Queen Street in Southington for $3.2 million. The site includes a 19,410-square-foot building on 5.1 acres and was previously purchased by Trio Fund 1 CT Portfolio LLC for $1.8 million in 2022.
