According to the Hartford Business Journal, Coastal Luxury Homes purchased the former Connecticut Humane Society property at 455 Post Road East in Westport for $3.5 million. The site includes a 7,195-square-foot main building and a 1,096-square-foot outbuilding on one acre, both constructed in 1952. The developer plans to convert the property into 25 to 30 high-end rental units, potentially with a small retail component, pending approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission.
