According to the Hartford Business Journal, Two Corners LLC acquired two adjacent office buildings at 39 and 49-51 Locust Avenue in New Canaan for $8.7 million. The properties span a combined 1-acre parcel and are slated for redevelopment into hospitality uses. Plans include converting one building into a 40-room hotel with a partial fourth floor and outdoor patio, while the other will become a mixed-use structure featuring ground-floor retail or office space and eight hotel rooms above.
