According to the Hartford Business Journal, a 66-room LaQuinta Inn & Suites located at 18 Pratt Road in Plainfield was sold for $4.9 million. The 34,830-square-foot hotel, built 22 years ago, sits on a 2.5-acre parcel and was previously owned by WAU Hospitality LLC, which had acquired it for $4.5 million in 2023. The buyer is a North Smithfield, Rhode Island–based limited liability company with ties to another hotel in that area.
