
According to the Hartford Business Journal, Siefert Associates, a national construction engineering firm headquartered at 27 Siemon Company Drive in Watertown, was acquired by GZA GeoEnvironmental, a Massachusetts-based multidisciplinary firm. Siefert holds engineering licenses across 25 states, the District of Columbia, and Ontario, and has contributed to major infrastructure projects, including NASA’s Mobile Launcher 2 and the Bayonne Bridge in New Jersey. The firm also maintains offices in White Plains, New York, and Morristown, New Jersey. While the sale price was not disclosed, the acquisition expands GZA’s contractor services and strengthens its presence in New England and the Mid-Atlantic region.
