According to the Hartford Business Journal, Connecticut launched a free online climate-risk mapping tool that allows residents and businesses to assess property vulnerability to floods, wildfires, hurricane winds, and extreme heat. Developed in partnership with the state Insurance Department and First Street, the tool provides address-specific risk ratings and interactive maps that project threats decades into the future.
