According to the Hartford Business Journal, Amazon has begun construction on a 3.2-million-square-foot robotic fulfillment center spanning 157 acres along the Naugatuck and Waterbury town line. The company purchased the main site for $2.5 million and an additional 8.5-acre parcel on Sheriden Drive in Naugatuck for $4.8 million to create access to the facility.
