According to the Hartford Business Journal, Hartford Steam Boiler, a division of Munich Re, purchased a half‑acre parcel at 3 Constitution Plaza in downtown Hartford for $1.3 million. The site, once home to WFSB Channel 3’s broadcast center, had been vacant for more than a decade after plans for a 100,000‑square‑foot office building were abandoned following the 2008 financial crisis.
