According to the Hartford Business Journal, the University of Connecticut Board of Trustees is set to vote on a $99.4 million renovation plan for Gampel Pavilion, the 171,000‑square‑foot arena on the Storrs campus. In addition, the trustees will consider a $4.95 million plan to demolish and rebuild the women’s rowing team boathouse at 44 Lake Street in Coventry, creating 6,000 square feet of new facilities with boat storage, locker rooms, and site improvements.
