
According to the Hartford Business Journal, Noble Energy Real Estate Holdings LLC is seeking approvals to develop a truck stop and warehouse complex on an 86‑acre parcel at 8261 Fienemann Road in Farmington. The proposal includes an 18,000‑square‑foot warehouse, an 8,437‑square‑foot travel center, multiple fuel pump configurations for passenger vehicles and tractor‑trailers, and on‑site retail amenities. The land is owned by the Municipal Employees’ Retirement Fund of the City of Hartford, which purchased the property for $5 million in 2017 and currently has Noble under contract to buy it.
