Welcome to the Team, Mike!

We’re excited to welcome Mike Romano to Sentry Commercial as a Project Manager!

Mike joins us following Sentry Commercial’s acquisition of Commercial Development Company (CDC), where he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager. With over a decade of experience in project management, asset oversight, and financial analysis, Mike has successfully led complex real estate projects, ensuring efficiency and strategic execution.

Prior to his time at CDC, Mike worked as a Senior Analyst specializing in DCF valuation, data analysis, and market strategy, further strengthening his ability to navigate the complexities of commercial real estate. He holds a BA in Economics with a concentration in Real Estate & Urban Economics from the University of Connecticut.

Mike’s expertise in project execution, budgeting, and asset management makes him a valuable addition to Sentry Commercial. Please join us in welcoming him to the team as we continue to grow and expand our capabilities!

• 🧥 New Roofing Division Gear – Our Construction Management team unveiled bright, high-visibility sweatshirts to keep our field crew safe and stylish. Safety remains our top priority as we tackle winter roofing projects.
• 🏗️ Major Roofing Project in Hartford County – We installed a Duro-Last® roofing system on a 68,000 SF industrial property, showcasing our ability to deliver exceptional results even in winter conditions.
• 🎉 Team Celebrations – Birthdays, work anniversaries, and our annual Holiday Luncheon reminded us that our team is at the heart of everything we do.
• 🌐 Community Engagement at The REC Hartford – We hosted the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) for their holiday gathering, strengthening community connections.

Modeling the New Roofing Division Gear!

At Sentry Commercial, we’re always finding ways to support and celebrate our team – whether it’s in the office or out in the field. Recently, our Roofing Division introduced vibrant orange and neon green sweatshirts designed for our hardworking field crew. These sweatshirts are more than just stylish; they’re all about safety and visibility on the job.

To showcase the new gear, we turned to two of our amazing team members, Cayley Delucia (Assistant Project Manager) and Ermira Elezi (Junior Accountant), to model the sweatshirts. While they’re usually behind the scenes ensuring smooth operations and financial accuracy, they had a blast bringing attention to the new field-ready look.

Sentry Commercial Supports The Bridge Family Center This Holiday Season

At Sentry Commercial, giving back to our community is a core value. This holiday season, we’re thrilled to partner with The Bridge Family Center, a Connecticut-based organization dedicated to providing safe homes, mental health services, and essential resources for youth and families in need.

We are hosting a holiday collection drive at The REC Hartford, located at 160 Trumbull Street. Our goal is to gather items that will bring hope and relief to families during the holiday season.

Items We Are Collecting:

• Gift cards (Visa, Amazon, grocery stores—most flexible and appreciated)
• New winter clothing (hats, gloves, scarves)
• Personal care products (toiletries, hygiene items)

Our collection basket is beautifully displayed under our holiday tree, and we invite our team, partners, and the community to contribute.

Why The Bridge Family Center?

The Bridge Family Center has been making a positive impact for decades, offering critical services that strengthen and uplift families across Connecticut. By supporting their mission, we aim to spread joy and provide much-needed support to those who need it most this season.

Honoring Veterans: Supporting Local Veterans Through Save A Suit

At Sentry Commercial, we are proud to honor and support veterans who have served our country. This Veterans Day, our team is coming together to show gratitude and make a meaningful impact on the lives of local veterans in need.

Thanks to Kathryn Frasier Colombie from our team, we’ve partnered with the nonprofit organization Save A Suit, which provides veterans and transitioning service members with business suits and professional attire to help them succeed in the workforce. National Veterans and Military Families Month is a perfect time to join this effort, and Kathryn has generously offered to collect any business attire donations from our team for a coordinated drop-off in support of Save A Suit.
