According to the Hartford Business Journal, The Sterling Organization has acquired Bristol Plaza, a 263,000‑square‑foot grocery‑anchored shopping center at 641 Farmington Ave. in Bristol, for $44 million. The property, previously owned by Federal Realty Investment Trust since 1995, includes major national retailers and roughly 25,000 square feet of available space, along with a 4‑acre development opportunity at the center of the site.
