According to the Hartford Business Journal, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Branford LLC has filed a certificate of need application to construct a $69.5 million, 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility at 596, 612, and 616 East Main Street in Branford. The proposed one-story hospital would span 54,765 square feet and include private rooms, therapy areas, and dialysis treatment space. The site comprises two residential parcels and one commercial/industrial property, none of which are currently owned by Encompass Health.
