According to the Hartford Business Journal, Charles IT is transforming a former Rite Aid pharmacy at 10 Main St. in Middletown into its new headquarters following the $5 million acquisition of the 30,000-square-foot building in 2023. The company, which specializes in IT security for high-compliance sectors, is consolidating operations previously spread across two leased properties. Renovations include a mezzanine level and stadium seating around a central jumbotron, echoing design elements inspired by Madison Square Garden.
