According to the Hartford Business Journal, NEFCO has expanded its footprint by acquiring STS Industrial, a Sulphur, Louisiana–based supplier serving oil and gas, chemical, and manufacturing operations across the country. The deal, for which financial terms were not released, gives NEFCO access to the Gulf region, a market the company views as a major growth opportunity.
