According to the Providence Business News, Knight & Swan LLC has acquired the former St. Joseph Hospital campus at 21 Peace St. in Providence, along with six adjoining parcels, and plans to convert the roughly 250,000‑square‑foot complex into housing . The property, founded in 1892 and last used by the St. Joseph School of Nursing before its 2019 closure, had previously been owned by Paolino Properties LLC, which explored concepts ranging from housing for homeless veterans to a public‑school redevelopment.
