According to the Hartford Business Journal, the owner of 625 Clark Ave. in Bristol is seeking a zoning change that would allow the 3.3‑acre former medical office property to be redeveloped for multifamily housing. The site, controlled by Chippen’s Hill Office Park LLC since 2002, is currently zoned for industrial use but has been vacant after years of medical office operations. The application argues that limited demand for office space and the neighborhood’s shift toward mixed‑use and residential development make a housing designation more appropriate.
