According to the Hartford Business Journal, Calco Construction and Development Inc. has proposed a mixed-use redevelopment across three properties totaling 12.3 acres at 466 Deming Road, 337 Berlin Turnpike, and 51 Worthington Ridge in Berlin. The plan includes constructing a 3,690-square-foot McDonald’s with a drive-thru, renovating existing buildings for warehouse and retail use, and adding a slowdown lane along the Berlin Turnpike.
