According to the Hartford Business Journal, Windsor has received over $2 million for environmental remediation at the former Stanadyne plant, which will become part of the new Connecticut River Business Park. Ohio-based IRG Industrial Realty Group LLC purchased the 52-acre property, which includes three vacant buildings totaling 740,000 square feet, for $250,000 in late 2023. The site will be developed for various uses, including manufacturing and office space, with IRG planning to invest at least $5 million in improvements. The project aims to attract new businesses to Windsor, with one building already available for lease.
