According to the Hartford Business Journal, Tunxis Road LLC is seeking feedback from Newington officials on a proposal to rezone a 5‑acre residential parcel at 180 Carr Ave. for industrial development. The site is part of a larger 11.65‑acre property that straddles the Newington–New Britain line, with the New Britain portion already zoned for industrial use. Concept plans call for three industrial buildings totaling nearly 30,000 square feet.
