According to the Hartford Business Journal, Lower Fairfield County’s office availability declined to 28% across 16.4 million square feet of Class A office space as more buildings were removed from inventory for redevelopment projects. Choyce Peterson reported that more than 1.8 million square feet of office space has been taken out of the market since mid-2024, including the conversion of 120 Long Ridge Road in Stamford into a 196-unit apartment community. Stamford posted the strongest improvement, with office availability falling from 32.3% to 26.5% over the past year.
