According to the Providence Business First, Rhode Island Hospital, part of Brown University Health, is pursuing approval for a $24.1 million demolition initiative as an early phase of a larger campus modernization effort in Providence. The work is intended to clear aging facilities and prepare the site for future redevelopment, including a planned 185,000-square-foot Diagnostic and Treatment Platform building.
