Dwan sold to Hartford Distributors

(1/11/13) Family-owned beer distributors Dwan & Company has closed its Industrial Lane, Torrington CT facility. The business has been sold to Manchester-based Hartford Distributors, expanding its operations into Litchfield County. The company has hired most of Dwan’s truck drivers and some of its sales staff.

Next Step Living, a Boston MA based residential energy efficiencies and renewables company, has signed a lease for 4,500 square feet at the Elm City Industrial Properties owned property.

500 Hayden Station sold for $895,000

(12/31/2012) Greg Malloy has recently purchased a 48,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facility located at 500 Hayden Station Road, Windsor CT. The People’s United Bank owned property was vacant at the time of the sale. The building can subdivided into 6,000 square foot individual units. Mr. Malloy reportedly intends to occupy the majority of the facility.

CS&L buys Suffield industrial property

(12/30/2012) CS&L Associates has purchased the 30,620 square foot, 4.09 acre property at 21 Kenny Roberts Memorial Drive, Suffield CT. The property, located just north of Bradley International Airport, is a two tenant, high bay warehouse and distribution facility. CS&L will reportedly occupy a portion of the building for its own use. Purchase price is $1,700,000.
