According to the Hartford Business Journal, RBC Bearings Inc. is expanding production capacity at its Oxford facility to meet rising demand tied to U.S. submarine and missile programs, supported by Connecticut’s broader defense manufacturing network. The company reported aerospace and defense revenue growth of 41.2% in its most recent quarter, contributing to total sales of $518 million, while its backlog increased to approximately $2.3 billion from $900 million a year prior.
