According to the Hartford Business Journal, Ramar-Hall is undertaking a $5 million expansion of its Middlefield manufacturing facility, adding 15,000 square feet to its existing 30,000-square-foot operation and creating at least 10 jobs. The project is supported by a $700,000 forgivable loan through Connecticut’s $50 million Strategic Supply Chain Initiative, along with $2 million in financing from Beacon Bank. Ramar-Hall also operates a 10,000-square-foot facility in Hamden acquired through its 2024 purchase of The Durol Co., while the state’s first round of supply-chain incentives supported roughly 24 projects representing a combined $350 million in planned private investment and 650 jobs.
