According to the Hartford Business Journal, the Bristol Planning Commission approved plans to create 16 apartments within two downtown commercial properties at 4 Riverside Ave. and 10 North Main St. The buildings were acquired in 2016 for $2.09 million and $1.4 million, respectively, and the owners plan to provide 95 parking spaces for the redevelopment. The approvals add residential density to Bristol’s downtown district as other nearby mixed-use housing projects move forward.
