
According to the Hartford Business Journal, Saber-Hightower, through a joint venture with Granoff Real Estate and Wind River Holdings, acquired two office buildings at 101 Merritt 7 and 201 Merritt 7 in Norwalk for a combined $11.4 million and plans to convert them into 286 apartment units. The partnership paid $7.3 million for the 328,774-square-foot building at 101 Merritt 7 and $4.1 million for the 269,815-square-footbuilding at 201 Merritt 7, while Bank OZK provided $75.5 million in construction financing for the redevelopment.
