According to the Providence Business News, New England Institute of Technology has begun construction on a $45 million expansion project at its Post Road campus in Warwick, Rhode Island, a development expected to triple the size of the campus. The initiative includes the creation of the Shipbuilding Advanced Institute for Learning, a training facility scheduled to open in January 2027 and support workforce development for General Dynamics Electric Boat and the U.S. Navy’s submarine industrial base.
