East Hartford Approves Major Development at Rentschler Field
According to the Hartford Business Journal, the Planning and Zoning Commission of East Harford has approved two applications for a planned development on the former Rentschler field site.
The master plan of the 300 acre site includes two warehouse buildings, totaling 2.5 million SF and two 100,000 SF buildings for high-tech manufacturing and research & development.
Developers stated they plan to bring 2,000 permanent jobs and over $4 million in annual tax revenue to the town.
