Expansions Complete for two CT Manufacturers

According to the Hartford Business Journal, two Connecticut manufacturers have recently completed significant expansions. Barnes Aerospace expanded its maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility by 32,000 square feet, resulting in a total of over 84,000 square feet dedicated to complex aerospace repairs. Additionally, Danbury-based ARKA Group finished a 14,000-foot expansion at its headquarters, investing $85 million over two years to enhance its production of smallsat systems and optical coating capabilities. These expansions reflect the growing aerospace industry in the state and the increasing demand for advanced manufacturing solutions.
