Middletown Property Eyed for Sports Facility

According to the Hartford Business Journal, Vale Sports Clubs is planning to acquire a 17-acre property at 49 Randolph Road in Middletown to centralize its operations. The proposed facility includes two outdoor synthetic turf fields with lights and a 21,000-square-foot indoor sports space. Additionally, a 28,300-square-foot industrial warehouse on the site will be transformed into a mixed-use venue with potential residential units. The property was last purchased for $2.1 million, and the project’s first phase will focus on the sports facility, followed by commercial and residential development.
