New Windsor Zoning Change Permits Self-Storage in Underutilized Office Space

According to the Hartford Business Journal, the town of Windsor has recently approved a zoning change that allows for the conversion of underutilized office spaces into self-storage facilities. This decision comes in a time where the state has seen record-high vacancy rates in the office sector. Per the article, “any application for conversion will still require a site plan and special permit from town land use officials.”
